Giovanni Arrived in the US on May 31 1910, on the ship the Roma
He is listed as 16 and single. He was heading to his cousin Carmine Busico in Denver at the Globeville Smelter. He worked in the smelter for 2 years, later moving to Tooele with other relatives. He became a crane operator at the Tooele smelter. For what reasons he went to live with relatives in Youngstown, OH.
Some Busico's still live in the area. While there he is reported to have tried out being a private investigator, In 1918 He enlisted in the USArmy. doing so became a US Citizen. He was discharged in 1919 at Ft. Zachary Taylor in KY.
He returned to Utah to live. He is buried in the Ogden Cemetery in the Veterans Circle.
