GARNETT --- Marvin Ralph Warbritton, 63, Garnett, died Monday, Jan. 27, 2003, in Garnett.

Mr. Warbritton was a master craftsman, and he had served in the National Guard.

He was born July 20, 1939, in Garnett, to Ralph Edward and Elsie Alberta Edwards Warbritton.

Mr. Warbritton was a member of the Assembly of God Church at Garnett.

He married Sharon Laws on Sept. 9, 1989, in Richmond. She survives.

Other survivors include a stepson, Joe Rodriguez, Norton; two stepdaughters, Tessa Rene Barron, Garnett, and Spring Dawn Gibson, Westphalia; a brother, Norman Warbritton, Salina; and nine grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Farris-Feuerborn Memorial Chapel in Garnett. Burial will be in Garnett Cemetery. Mr. Warbritton will lie in state after noon today at the funeral chapel, where visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to Allen County Hospice and sent in care of the funeral home, 219 S. Oak, P.O. Box 408, Garnett, 66032.
