Buried in Glendola Cemetery, Wall Township, NJ in the Poland family grave. Was pianist for famous singer, Kate Smith.

Arrived in this country on Feb. 5, 1894 at age 22 as Fritz Curdt aboard the H. H. Meier, Breman, Germany, and was already a U. S. Citizen.
