Came to this country as Kaj Viggo Dalgaard, a Danish Citizen on June 12, 1923 at 19 years old aboard the Hellig Olav as a member of the ship's crew.

Became a citizen 3/2/1931 in Freehold, NJ - lived in Avon, Nj at the time. He was an only child.
