1850 and 1860 census say Mary was born PA. Later census say NJ. Death certificate says NJ. Birth is recorded in Burlington County book D-1 page 63, born Shreveville.
Marriage record at the Trinity Methodist Church in Bordentown says she was born in Shreveville.
The birth certificate for her daughter Rebecca says 5 children were born to this marriage; four are living. The notice in the newspaper of Mary's death says that she is the mother of seven children. That makes it seem that 'Abbie', whom we know only from her presence in the 1885 state census, is indeed Mary & Joseph's child.
Neither Anna, Emma or Abbie has a birth record in the New Jersey index at the state archives.
