Deceased Name: Lena Busico Hanks Teter
Lena Busico Hanks Teter, beloved wife, sister, and aunt, passed away on the morning of this New Year, January 1, 2001.

She was born on February 9, 1913. Lena was 87 years old and is the oldest of ten children born to Vincenzo and Chiarina Busico.

Lena married Roy Hanks in 1935. They resided in California and he preceded her in death in 1960. She married Herman F. Teter in 1966. Together they lived in El Cerrito, California for 22 years. In 1988, when Lena's health began to fail, Herman brought her back to Tooele so she could be closer to her family. Lena will be remembered for her dedication to hard work and as a meticulous housekeeper. She worked at Past Time Hardware in Calif. for 28 years. She was a talented piano player. For many years she played the piano that is now located in the Tooele County Railroad Museum. Lena was a member of St. Marguerite's Church.

Survived by her husband and family members in Tooele: Angie Burris, Mary and Joe Cerroni, Tony Busico, Ann and Gerald Gordon, Joe Busico, Louise Busico, Dollie an Richard Gregrich, many nieces and nephews, and R. L. and Betty Teter of Clifton-Hills, Missouri. Preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Pearl Miller and Edith Morrell.

Funeral mass will be held Friday, Jan. 5th, 10 a.m. at St. Marguerite's Catholic Church, 510 East Vine Street, Tooele. Viewing and vigil prayer service, Jan. 4th, 6-7 p.m. at St. Marguerite's Church. Rosary recited from 7-8 p.m. Burial at the Tooele City Cemetery.
