Notes for Pasquale PALMIERI

[PALMIE~7.FTW]

Ship manifest for Pasquale is in 1912 when he came with is Son Giovanni and Son in law Giuseppe Gionnetti. He was 44.
He again traveled back to Italy and came back in Feb 1921 (After leaving CT July 1919 to return to Italy. Why we do not know.) His listed to be at the age of 58 (per the manifest)
He traveled on the ship SS Re D'Italia
Reported to be Senile per the ships records.

The age difference from 1912 to 1921 shows he was born from 1863 to 1869. Also he lists as being in the USA in Derby from 1910-1919 if so then we should beable to locate the manifest for 1910. His occupation is listed as a Laborer.

In 1921 Pasquale and his wife Teresa are living at 3 Campriter, Derby. CT.

Another Manifest Lists Pasquale as coming first in May 19 1899 to NY, He shows here the relationship to the Merola family by listing Brother-in-law Merola. He is listed as 36 years of age. This puts his birth in 1863 which coincides with his age on the 1921 manifest of age 58. It also states he is married.
The assumption is he may have been married before Teresa, as he is 13 years older than she is.
If this is true. His first wife may have passed away. She may also have been a Merola. Record for naturalization states wife named Ermelina.(Married Feb 20 1893} But his petition was filed Aug 1932

In 1904 Pasquale was living at 121 Houston st. N.Y. In 1904 An Antonio Palmieri age 43 is heading to NY to his cousin Pasquale in NY.
