RIVERDALE - Celia Vasquez Busico (Bunny), passed on to a joyful reunion with loved ones on March 24, 2004.
Celia was born on January 16, 1928 in Kaysville, Utah to Juan Jose and Trinidad Najera
Vasquez. She attended Davis High School and Weber State College. She had a full and rewarding career working at St. Benedicts Hospital, Hill Air Force Base and the Internal Revenue Service. Celia married her soul mate, Robert Busico on September 25, 1974. The 29 years with Bob were among the happiest of her life.
Celia met lifes challenges with determination and resolve. She had a sweet, gentle nature and was tireless and unselfish in nurturing and providing for her children. Her loving, supportive ways and beautiful smile will be especially missed by her family.
Celia is survived by her husband, Robert, daughters Deb Larson, Pamela Vasquez and Cinda Hansen; sons Steve, Robert and Rick Busico; 8 grandchildren; brother Joe Vasquez; nephews David and John Vasquez and numerous cousins. Her parents preceded her in death.
Celia was too tenderhearted for lifes cares and slights and now sleeps with the angels, safe from the hurts and woes of this earthly existence.
Funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday, March 30, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Marys Catholic Church, 2740 Pennsylvania, Ave., Ogden. Vigil service with rosary will be held on Monday, March 29, at 7:00 p.m., at the Larkin & Sons Mortuary, 496 24th St, Ogden, where friends may call Monday, from 6 to 7 p.m.
Interment, Washington Heights Memorial Park.
