PINGREE — Mary M. De-Giulio , 93, of Pingree, Idaho, passed away Monday, May 14, 2007, at her home.
She was born April 10, 1914, in Tooele, Utah, the eldest of sevendaughters born to Carmine Busico and Maria Carmina Nardacchione. She grew up in Tooele and received her education there. She was not able to complete high school, but years later received her GED, which she was very proud of that accomplishment.
On July 16, 1931, she married S.L. DeGiulio in Tooele, Utah. They later moved to Pingree, Idaho, where they raised cattle and farmed. Mary also worked for Simplot for a brief time.
Mary was a member of the Roman Catholic Church and the Blue Bird Needle Craft Club. She enjoyed making afghans for friends, family and church bazaars . She also enjoyed fishing with her husband and cooking.
She is survived by her children , Anna Kesterson of Pingree, Idaho, Eugene (Zelma) DeGiulio of Moreland, Idaho, Ernie (Marilyn) DeGiulio of Blackfoot, Idaho, Anthony (Nadine) DeGiulio of Pingree, Idaho; sisters, Gloria Phillips of Orem, Utah, and Sylvia Wilson of Bothell, Washington; 19 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren , and 11 great-great-grandchildren . She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, S.L., two grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren , four sisters, Edith, Angelina, Claudina and Rose.
A rosary will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday evening, May 17, 2007, at the Hawker Funeral Home with a viewing to follow at 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 18, 2007, at the St. Bernard’s Catholic Church. A graveside service will be held at 4 p.m. Friday , May 18, 200, at Riverside-Thomas Cemetery.
