Lorraine was born November 12, 1925 to Peter Rainaldi and Carmela Chiocchia. She married Fred Pannunzio on December 3, 1949. He died at an early age, leaving her to raise three children. She worked for many years in Civilian Personnel at Tooele Army Depot. She was a member of St. Marguerite's Catholic Parish, and a past president of the Ladies Guild (being most proud of founding the tradition of serving breakfasts after morning masses). She was also a past president of the Tooele Eagles Auxiliary.
She is survived by sons, Fred (Kathy), Salina, Utah; Robert Pannunzio; and a daughter, Carma (Dean) Evans; both of Tooele; eight grandchildren; brothers, Joe (Joyce), Tony (Donna), and Pete Rainaldi. She was preceded in death by her husband; and an infant daughter, Barbara; her parents; and a brother, Angelo.
The family would especially like to thank St. Mark's Cardiac ICU nurses, C.J., Marcia, and Denise; nurses, Tony, Bob, and Kitty; and aides, Sarah and Michelle, for their compassion and care. Thanks to Drs. Schaecher, Ronald E. Brown, and Howard Lee. Thanks to her special nurse, aide, and friend, Mary Beth Mertin.
