Notes for Sylvia BUSICO

Sylvia Wilson

Sylvia Wilson
Aug. 22, 1923 - Oct. 20, 2009

On October 20, 2009, at age 86, Sylvia said goodbye to her loving family in this world and began her journey to God's Heavenly place; a place where her loved ones who had gone before were surely waiting for her with great anticipation and jubilation.
Sylvia was born August 22, 1923 in Tooele, Utah; one of seven beautiful daughters born to Carmine and Maria Nardicchione Busico. She was always very proud of her Italian heritage. She graduated from Tooele High School.
On November 21, 1942 she married the love of her life, Donald Albert Wilson. Their strong marriage and bond would last over 62 years. Don passed on March 28, 2005, but they are now reunited for eternity, never to be separated again.
Sylvia is survived by her daughters, Gloria (Bill) Livermore, Kelli (Henry) Gomez and Dawnie Larson; grandchildren, Christopher and Ethan Livermore, Madyson and Angelo Gomez, Erik Larson and Dean Astleford; and great-grandchildren, Bianca Langston, Adam, Bailey and Connor Astleford. She also leaves one sister and brother-in-law, Gloria and Bill Phillips; brother-in-law, Fritz Wilson; sister-in-law, Margaret Pavich; plus many additional loving family members.
Sylvia's entire life focus was on caring for her husband, her family, and her home. This is what she will always be remembered for because of the love and endless hard work she put into it. She enjoyed cooking, and especially baking; spritz cookies, rum cake, and cinnamon rolls were divine. Sylvia was an avid gardener and grew amazingly beautiful flowers. She spent many hours crocheting blankets for her family members. Cooking spaghetti dinner for her loved ones was always a joy for her. Her home was perfectly kept and she welcomed everyone at any time.
Her Catholic faith was very important to her. Her daily prayers and rosary sustained her.
Sylvia's family would like to thank, Annie, Regina and all the staff of "Just like Home" adult home for their loving, kind and gentle care of our mom towards the end of her life.
A funeral mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 9, 2009, at St. Thomas More Parish in Lynnwood, WA in the chapel. Interment will be at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon.
Our family will dearly miss and cherish Sylvia forever. There will not be a day that goes by that she is not remembered with profound love by all of us. However, we are comforted and made joyful by the knowledge that she is now with her God and her husband, Don, in a time and place that never ends.
