1. Name given on christening record of daughter, Maria Antonia Mastronardo,
on records found in the parish San Marco. According to the priest, Don
Allessandro, SAIIA, this is a name that is very ancient in Agnone. He said that
it is pronounced "say yah" in Italian. I also noticed that in later
generations, one of the "I"s is sometimes deleted. The name is written
in italian script like "SAYA" with a dot over the top of each of the
arms of the Y.
2. Daughter's christening record also states that Vittoria's parish
was San Antonio.
