Deceased Name: Josie Pannunzio 1931 ~ 2005
Josie (Jo) Porter Pannunzio Our beautiful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and wonderful friend, Josie Pannunzio, passed away peacefully from this life on Tuesday, November 29th 2005. Josie was born May 6th 1931 in Tooele, Utah to Violet Heggie Porter and Nathan Edward Porter. She married Rudolph (Rudy) Pannunzio in Elko, Nev., on Sept. 25, 1950. They were married for 53 years, Rudy preceded her in death in March of 2004, Josie missed him dearly. Josie was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a 50 year member of the Fraternal Order of Eagle's Auxiliary. She is survived by her loving family, daughters, Kathleen (Scott) Dunn, Jolene Pannunzio (David Bankhead), Margene (Randy) Wing, Christine (David) Eyre, and Shaun Marie (Jason) Meyer; her beautiful grandchildren, Aimee (John) York, Lori (Miles) Lawrence, Stacie Dunn, Rusti, Trevor and Justin Stalliviere, Marcus, Ashley, and Jenny Wing, Michael (Jackie), Matt, Tyler and Ryan Eyre, Colby, Nicholas and Jordyn Meyer; great-grandchildren, Kaisha, Kerianne, Kameron and Kennedi York, Ethan George, Scotty Lawrence and Brianna Eyre. She is also survived by her sister Ruth Plichta, brother Edson (Veda) Porter and sister-in-law Shirley Porter. She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents: brothers Warren Edward, Nathan David, and sister Berdine Porter. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 5 at 11 a.m at Tate Mortuary. A viewing will be held on Sunday, December 4 from 6-8 p.m. at Tate Mortuary and 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be in Tooele City Cemetery. Josie will be missed and cherished by all who knew her. Rest in peace Momma. We Love You.
