lifelong resident of Colorado, passed away Jan. 26, 2009. She was born Jan. 28, 1913, in Pueblo, Colo., and is survived by her granddaughter, Sherri Daniels (Robert) of Virginia; sister, Theresa Spicola; and son, "Skip" Cash. Rose was predeceased by husband, Philip Cash; son, Phil Cash; sisters, Lena Santarelli and Flora Scaplo; brother, Peter Santarelli; and granddaughters, Belinda Cash and Debi Simington. Rose's life was devoted to her family. Her homemade pasta and large family dinners brought lots of family and friends to her home. Cooking and gardening were her favorite pastimes. Pueblo was her home until she moved to Colorado Springs in 1968. In her heart, she still had fond memories of growing up on Goat Hill in Pueblo. Her favorite title was "Grandma" and she will be greatly missed by seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren and beloved nieces and nephews. Rose's family would like to thank the staff of Sunrise at University Park and Odyssey Hospice for their wonderful care and friendship. Service,10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, 2009, Evergreen Funeral Home Chapel, 1830 E. Fountain Blvd. Graveside service will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 S. Hancock. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Rose Cash's memory to the Alzheimer's Association Colorado Chapter, 2315 Bott Ave., Colorado Springs, CO 80904.
